- Remind myself that I will always lose when I lose my temper

Basic Anger

Name-Calling
“Stirring milk causes butter to form. Hitting someone’s nose causes blood to flow. And making people angry causes trouble.” Proverbs 30:33 ERV
Pronouncing Judgement
“An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.” Proverbs 29:22 NIV
- Recognize the root of my anger
“People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness.” Proverbs 14:29 NLT
- Respond rather than react
“Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” Proverbs 29:11 NIV
- Remember the Lord
