Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Romans 12:9-18 ESV

To have relationships that are renewed and being renewed all you need is Love

How To Renew Your Relationships?

1. Love genuinely

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8 NIV

  • No Hypocrisy. No masks or False Pretense.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 NIV

2. Love humbly

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Philippians 2:3

  • Outdo one another in showing honor.

“Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.” Romans 12:10 MSG

3. Love dependently.

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:12 ESV

  • Hope, tribulation, prayer. The triple play of dependency.

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NIV

“And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, he will set you firmly in place and build you up.” 1 Peter 5:10 TPT

“But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.” Luke 5:16 NLT

4. Love generously.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 NIV

  • Find a need and meet it: financial, emotional, spiritual.

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Hebrews 13:16 NIV

5. Love peacefully

“If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Romans 12:18

  • Peace comes through the power and love of Christ in you.

“For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.” Colossians 1:19-20 NLT
