1.  Kindness is power

“For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared…” Titus 3:3-4

2.  Kindness prepares for repentance

“Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?” Romans 2:4

3.  Kindness can hurt

“Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head.” Psalm 141:5

4.  Kindness brings honor

“Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.” Proverbs 21:21

Four Action Points to Reflect His Kindness

“As God’s chosen people…clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” Colossians 3:12 

1. Be sensitive to your surroundings

“Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also, to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:4

2. Be supportive with what you say and how you say things to people

“Kind words bring life, but cruel words crush your spirit.”  Proverbs 15:4   

3. Be sympathetic with others

“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” Romans 12:15 

4. Be searching for kindness opportunities

“As we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10
