“We believe in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary.  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.”

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation: for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” Colossians 1:15-21 NASB

How To Live Life In The Son

  1. Realize Who He is
  • He is the eternal Son of God and the living Word of God

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.” John 1:1-3 NASB

  • He is the only Savior of the world

“This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.” 1 Timothy 2:3-6 NASB

  • He is the resurrection and the life

“I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 NASB

  • He is our ascended and soon coming King

“And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:9-11 NASB

2. Receive Him as Savior

“She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 NASB

3. Rely on Him as Lord

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 ESV
