Get GrowingFebruary 5-19 2017

God has given us certain tools for our spiritual lives that cause our faith to grow. In this three week series we are going to look at three of the main tools God has given us to grow. We are going to “get” a better understanding of how we grow, and we are going to Get Growing by using the tools He has given us.

Daily Devotional (Feb 6-27)

God’s Word is the beginning, intermediate, and final authority in all things.  In the Beginning was the Word. Through His Word all things were created and in His Word everything is sustained.  The Word was made flesh in Jesus Christ.  The Word was, is, and always will be.

Psalm 119 is all about God’s words, decrees, laws, precepts, and statutes.  The author of this Psalm sees God’s Word as regal, life-giving, comforting, preserving, guiding, energizing, delightful, and much more.

Join us for a 22 day walk through this Psalm.  One day for each 8 verse section of the longest chapter in the Bible.  Our prayer for this 22 days is that all of us are moved a little closer to recongnizing the ultimate role that God’s Word has in all life; including our own.

A new devotional will be posted each day:

  • {Saturday} February 18, 2017 - You might feel a little discouraged after reading these verses.  I did.  These verses paint a picture that is likely not true for most of us.  We don’t have God’s
